Machining activity is a matter of priority at our company. On the one hand concerning the production of the machine-cut parts of our own finished products, on the other hand concerning the orders for machining tasks received from external companies. We have the machinery for all of the basic machining works (turning, milling, drilling, grinding). For turning and milling we operate several CNC machines. We can produce machine parts of various steels, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and plastic. The following characteristics apply to the precision of the processing:
We have co-operation partners for the implementation of special processing tasks – e.g. tooth cutting, spark machining, processing of large bodies (horizontal machining), etc. In the gallery you can view the typical parts we already produce. We have the heat treatment, browning, electroplating operations of the machine-cut parts performed by external companies in co-operation. One of the most dominating activities of job-work nature of our company is the laser sheet metal cutting, which is based on the continuous service of three high performance sheet machining centres. These CNC machines model LMC 250+L are of combined design. In addition to the turret head with a capacity of twenty tools they are also equipped with laser aggregate and cutting head. The combined design further increases the existing high flexibility. And the continuous operation means further advantages for our customers. In 2008 we put a new equipment model TruLaser 3030 Classic into service too. The preparation of production is done on computer on the basis of the conventional drawing documentation provided by the customer, and we archive the programs created this way. Processing of documentations submitted in digital form is also possible. In dxf format please specify the dimensions too. (our e-mail address: szimmetria@szimmetria.hu) The high performance laser aggregate, the modern CNC controller, the precise object moving system guarantee the quality of the laser cutting. The cleanness of the cut surface, the accurate contours, the short lead times are all such factors that offer a market advantage to our customers. The maximum sheet thickness that can be cut on the equipment we operate is 20 mm in case of normal carbon steel, 8 mm in case of corrosion-resistant steels, and 6 mm in case of aluminium alloys. Furthermore on the CNC bending machine we operate we also perform an activity of job-work nature. The laser cutting and bending performed at the same place mean further advantages for our customers. | Sheet metal structure production | Picture | |

Our company has significant traditions in sheet metal structure production too. In the field of sheet metal structures we prefer the production of machine casings made of fine sheet-plate and machine frames, trestles made of hot-rolled sheets of thicknesses below 10 mm. The production is possible of normal steel sheet, corrosion-resistant steel or aluminium sheet. In case of production of structures made of fine sheet-plate it is advantageous for us that the flat blank laser cutting is done within the company. The flat blank laser cutting provides a high flexibility, so the quick serving of low quantity orders is also possible. We undertake the production of metal structures of certain type (e.g. control boxes) also including mechanic fitting. In the course of the production of sheet metal structures priming and finish painting is also possible. This is performed in our own powder spraying painting workshop. We can satisfy other surface finishing needs - browning, electroplating – with the help of our co-operating partner. With our co-operating partner we undertake the production of midweight metal structures too. | Surface finishing | Picture | |

In the majority of their orders concerning sheet metal structure production our customers require also the surface finishing of the structures. Since the most common need is painting, we implemented this technology within the company. Recently we exclusively apply powder painting, because this technology provides better quality. The degreasing of the parts is done with warm water spray washing, which creates a thin phosphate coating on the sheet surface at the same time. The spraying of the paint powder takes place in a cabin of two work-stations, and the burning-in is done in a 5 m long burning-in kiln. The temperature of burning-in may be maximum 190 C°. Other surface finishing needs occur in case of both sheet metal structures, and other kinds of parts, e.g. electroplating, chemical browning, etc. We perform these tasks with external partners. |
