SZIMmetria Kft. was founded in 1992 by eight Hungarian private individuals. Our company started its actual operation in May 1993 in Karcag on a site rented from Szerszámgépipari Művek (SZIM) (Machine Tool Industrial Works). Later we purchased this hired site. The address of the site:

The structure of ownership has not changed up to this day. The production takes place in an indoor workshop hall of 4000 m2 on the site. CNC machine tools represent a big share in the equipment park. Currently the total number of employees in near 100 persons. The majority of the skilled workers has a practice of several decades. In recent years we already focused on the education of young skilled workers too. There are ten people who have high professional qualification in the management and in the technical preparation.
The scope of activities of our company consists of four main parts:
- production and distribution of machinery (oil mill) of small-scale vegetable-oil production
- flat blank laser cutting and bending in job-work – from customer's or our material
- production of small CNC turning lathe – primarily for use of education purposes
Our company purchased new machines with the joint support of the EU and the State of Hungary:
Modernisation of CNC sheet metal processing and precision machining
